Kurt H. Gregory, M.S., L.M.F.T.
Kurt is the Founder and Director of The Aboite Counseling and Therapy Group.
He holds a Bachelors Degree from Purdue University (1989, Psychology) and a Master's Degree from Indiana University (1992, Marriage and Family Therapy).
Kurt is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, as well as a Registered Domestic Relations Mediator. He has worked in psychiatric hospitals, mental health centers, rehabilitation centers and, for the last ten years, in private practice.
He is a Clinical Member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and the Indiana Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. In 2002, Kurt was honored with the Indiana-Purdue University at Fort Wayne's Outstanding Alumni Award for his work as a Marriage and Family Therapist. In 2005, he was appointed Chair of the Indiana Association of Marriage and Family Therapists' Legislative Committee and also serves as the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists' Legislative Liason for Indiana. Additionally, Kurt is the regional board member for IAMFT for the Northeastern region of Indiana. Kurt has served as a member of the Whitley County Community Corrections board since 1998, and has also served on the board of the Northeastern Indiana Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) since 2005.
His clinical interests include all areas of Individual, Marriage, and Family Therapy, but specifically divorce issues, mediation, depression, anxiety, and infidelity. Kurt routinely works with family and juvenile courts throughout the state on a wide variety of issues.
